I tried using a flush system before I went from the orange to the green coolant. After I thought it was flushed. I had spent atleast a couple of hours filling, running the car till the stat opened refilled, drained and repeated I don't know how many times and never got out all of the coolant. And because after doing all of this I went to the green coolant. I had drain the block because I started having sludge build up.

Forget the kit, like mentioned above draining the radiator and flushing just that is suficient, but like ZLT195 said you can use this method and still wont get all the sludge out. sometimes its not a good idea to go overboard with the flushing, especially if you have a car with a lot of miles or its older, it can only lead to problems when all the gunk and sludge that is clogging up the system disapears, leaks can arise. I usually flush out the radiator pretty good and the block twice, then i call it quits.

take out the drain plug, thermostat and knock sensor....

then put in a garden hose until it comes out clear... or ALMOST clear...
