I was driving home today, and when I got home, I notice water squirting out of my overflow. Can someone let me know why it is doing this. I think it might be my radiator cap, but I'm not sure. Someone please let me know.

I had that happen once, it was because i overfilled the system after i replaced my opti and neglected to put my cap on all the way.

 

I also had it happen and it was due to a rupture in one of the rubber lines in the coolant system that wasn't holding pressure. That and my water pump was going. Overheating + coolant everywhere.

 

happended to me a few months ago, was the cap.
