Coolant drain passage

Would the coolant drain passages on either side of the block be a good spot to install a water temp probe for a water temp gauge? Also, would the oil passage above the oil filter mount work for an oil pressure sensor for a mechanical oil pressure gauge? Thanks

Re: Coolant drain passage

I guess you could use the drain for a sensor or you could put a "tee" at one of the other sensors.

The port above the oil filter is a good spot for the oil pressure sensor.
