coolant crossover seals

I need 4 seals to go on the banjo bolts but no dealership close to town has them. Im assuming this a dealership only item (part # 10108689) because i looked through Advanced & Autozone, they didn't look like they would carry them.

is there anyway to get around not getting new ones? RTV sealant, washers or whatever?

these 4 seals are holding me back from putting my motor in

Tell them you need a oil pan drain plug seal from a late 90's truck(99). Thats what I did. Its a lot cheaper than the actual one your looking for too. Its a brown rubber coated washer. Slightly smaller inside dia. but it works fine. They should have plenty in stock. This is at your friendly GM dealer, BTW. Couldn't find them at otterzone

You beat me to the punch btchincamaro. I ran into the same problem and used oil pan drain plug seals. They have been working flawlessly for the last 6 months. I used a little silicone on the metal outer parts of the seals for added insurance. I still think it's pretty crappy that an expensive gasket set is not complete. Good luck on the motor.

Dan, last time i got some the guy at Napa told me they were just AC seals. as i recall less than $10 for the 4, may save you a big wait.

anyone have a pic of these? (shoebox?) so I know what to look for.

I haven't taken my heads off my motor and they are still in the engine bay. These seals are going on my new long block i have recently acquired.

I like the real thing. I don't like to take chances with coolant leaks.

That's about what I paid with Jason. I'm with Shoebox, leaks suck, take no chances...
