Coolant bleeding issues
Ok installed a CSR e water pump the other day - had a hell of a time bleeding it but it worked all day Saturday with no issues overheating. Sunday the pump blew a fuse and stopped working - car started overheating so I attempted to bleed it again
The bottom bleeder is fine - the one nearest the thermostat. It will bleed no problem. The top bleeder is another thing all together. It will not bleed no matter what but what's weird is if you shut the pump off (key off) it will then shoot coolant out of the top bleeder???
Everytime I think it's bled correctly I drive around the block only to find out that the temps are rising again.
Using Shoebox's website for bleed instructions.
What the hell am I doing wrong here? Points start Wed night and now i'm getting nervous.
