convertible top resistance
convertible top resistance
Continuing my quest to replace my driver side window motor, I thought today would be a great day to put my top down while I work on the window(I've had it down the last few days). Down it went as usual until it gets resistance just towards the end of the down cycle.
I checked for blockage in the trunk...nothing there that I can tell.
I put it back up and it seemed that the resistance must have caused the frame to go out of line a small bit. I straightened (by clamping it closed) and then opening again with the resistance happening again in the same position...
It seems to me that the window may be at a slight slant towards the inside of the car(not the trunk side). Is this normal? What is this all about? Where should I look for the problem?
Sheesh!! First no window air...now no top air...thank goodness for a/c(so far)
