Convertible owners please

The crossbrace that most people take off when they go to larger exhaust is different on a convertible. It doesn't just connect on both sides of the exhaust it goes up to the front of the car as well, kind of a T shaped piece of metal. Does anyone make a replacement for the convertible cross brace for a '95? It seems like an important piece of the chassis, but my dumb *** tossed it when I put on my exhaust. I want my convertible as stiff as possible, and I already have KB SFC's on there. Does anyone think it's really worth replacing the cross brace? Any response is welcome, thanks.

That must have been GM's version of sub frame connectors? I know that our convertibles do have more body/chassis bracing. My guess would be if you got Kenny Browns you don't really need it. Did KB have two different part numbers for their SFC's? I was checkin in to some a while back and I think BMR had different ones for us droptops than for the hardtops.

Yeah mine feels solid too, those Kenny Browns are great. I was just wondering if that thing actually did anything that the KB's didn't already do. No biggie.
