If the cam drivin waterpump is deleted & the opti-spark, could a solid flat tappet cam be installed with a standard timing chain w/cam button???? & add electric water pump (Have allready conv. to a carb & MSD dist.)Help..

 

Don't get rid of that great roller cam! Just use a cam thats designed for 86-up blocks orig equipped w/a roller cam. doesn't have to be LT1 specific anymore.
BTW i have a great custom comp grind for sale,i ran this in my carb conv LT1.
