conversion?
has anyone changed from the lt-1 to the older style sbc with rear distributer? i have a 97 z28 30th anniv but i also have a top dollar race motor i'd like to install...... any ideas?

there are plenty of guys with the carbed SBC in their lt1 cars just do a search.

I think your exaggerating. I would not do this unless it were a race only car. You'll ruin the value of the car by chopping the bejesus out of the firewall.
