Question Continue with installs or search for mystery tap?

Ok to catch everyone up I was planning on doing a lot of installs at once, but my headers didn't get in in time. So I decided to do them seperatly, yet never really finished the one due to a mystery tap yet have the headers and exhaust are here and waiting...

My philosophy is to try to fix problems before moving on. Moving on only causes more problems, and then they start to pile up. A tapping sound can't be good and if it was me, I'd find it hard to just not worry about it. If it is an exhaust leak, verify that it is before you move on. Just my .02.

The tap along with the looser rockers could be a collapsed lifter. Fix it now or rebuild motor later.
