Considering going no cats

What are the downsides to no cats.I want to get lts and it would be a lot cheaper to go with an offroad pipe.I just wanted to know if anyone has any problems with an orp.

You probably won't pass emissions but who cares. I'm also gonna get rid of my cat this spring.

The more free the exhaust the better your engine breaths. Shouldn't have any problems.

yup your cats do the most out of all the crap on your car to reduce emissions. So if you don't care about emissions than no problem!

The only problem w/no cats is that you get a strong gasey smell on the inside of the car unless you go with turn downs or something like that. You might get only a small amount of smoke but it's nothing major at all. Should not throw any codes, but if you get a SES light, you can just tune or program your far for no cats and it will take care of it.

If you want a cat just toss one on the end of the Y-pipe before you weld it to the I-pipe. If you dont want one, forget it then.

Is the gassy smell constant even when your driving or only when you first fire it up?

When your cruzing you don't notice it. When you start it up it's there and when your ideling as well as when you turn the car off sometime. But it's nothing that's gonna bother you to bad I'm sure.
