IMO a longtube is a longtube

jet hot has the best coating and price, and you have the option for emission fittings, supposed to have better ground clearance, has 02 bungs welded in.

hooker has been around for a long time, no emissions fittings, extra for 02 sensor bungs,

FLP most expensive but includes the cat ypipe and off road ypipe.

it all depends on your needs

FLP is stainless steel... the others are mild steel. Other than that... they're all very close to the same.

I would buy the Hooker LTs uncoated, have O2 bungs welded on and then send them off locally to have them coated, that way when and if the coating has trouble you can work with a person face to face instead of over the phone and having to ship halfway accross the country.

The hookers and the jet hots have equal length primaries. The FLPs and Dynatechs do not.

BTW who told you that FLPs are SS? I am pretty sure they aren't because the coating is coming off of mine and they are rusting like hell.

If you buy the jet hot's you won't have to worry about the coating comming off. If it does, they have a lifetime guarantee.

SVT killer, it's not too late to have them coated. Jet Hot will blast them inside and out and warantee them for 3yrs vice lifetime if you sent them new. I had them coat a set for my supercharged 400 in my truck with Jet Hot 2000-holds up to 2400 degrees since blower motors generally make hotter exhaust under boost(physics) and that coating cost me 260, the normal jet hot sterling the rest of us have is 175 maybe, They give a discount too for being a member of the board(mine would have been 325). Just a Thought for ya.

My first set of LTs that jethot coated flaked in a few months, Their only settlement is for you to remove the headers, ship them to them and they will recoat and ship back to you (takes several weeks)
Airborne coatings here in Oklahoma has the same warrany and they are less than an hour from me. They can coat the headers the day after I drop them off I can pick them up.
After having them recoated they lasted for 5 years until I sold the car with no tarnishing whatsoever.
Not learning my lesson I bought Jet hots for my 97, I put them on in June, they are flaking and rusting now.
