1997 Z28 - stock
car stalls when the dash temp meter is about 3/4 ... getting near red ... the car just chugs for a sec and dies , all the fluids are good .. car doesnt need any rad fluid.

I had the thermostat replaced. The fans where checked. The dash guage seems to work ... but maybe there is a temp sensor that could be bad? I believe that was replaced too not long ago too... also the radiator was replaced about 6 months ago. Other than that could there be maybe a plugged hose , or perhaps the water pump is not working well?

any thoughts?
