Computer Tuning for Roller Rockers

I have a 1993 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with a magnaflow cat-back, SLP intake, and Vortech Elbow. I am thinking of getting some 1.6 RR and I was talking to a good friend of mine and he mentioned that I would benefit from computer tuning after this upgrade. I currently have a hypertech chip installed, but he said to go to PCM for less for the tuning. Also, should I do this if I put in 3.73 or 4.10 gears? Thanks.

For gears definitely, but for the rockers..I don't think so. I'm not positive but pretty sure its not worth it. If you're gonna do the gears, then ask pcmforless to do RR programing (if any) at the same time. Also, I think you have to get different valve covers for rocker clearance. Just FYI...

Just adding 1.6rrs would not require any PCM adjustment. On your OBDI PCM just monitor your BLMs with a scanner at WOT to get an idea if your total mods would benefit from spending that kind of money.
