CompCams 977 springs... What lifters

I posted about what valve springs were needed with a turbo engine. Most people are telling me to get a spring with a good amount of seat pressure to assure that the valve has no issues closing against the incoming boosted air.

I am going to be running a 224/230 cam, with a .503/.510 lift.

CompCams recommended 977-16 springs. These springs have 150 psi on the seat, and 441 on the spring rate. CompCams recommended 875 lifters which are priced at over 500 dollars for a set.

My questions is will the comp cams OE Replacement lifters hold up RELIABLY on these springs? (i'm referring to the 850s)

Edit: Running a Precision T76 turbo at 15+ pounds of boost, bottom end is fully forged with low compression.

I run the same springs with a set of Morels. They can be had for ~$400 a set now. I wouldn't trust the OE replacement lifters with that spring.

Just out of curiosity, what made you run such a heavy duty spring?

What heads are these installed on. They are rated at 1.85" height. I'm putting htem on TrickFlow heads, not sure what the installed height is going to be

Cam designer and AI both advised these springs, which are on a set of competition ported LT4's.

Ya need to check EVERYTHING.
The stock lifters will do just fine.
Make sure there is no binding or bottoming out before ya break something.
