Comp test woes (how to connect to #2 cyl)
Does anyone have a trick to get a compression tester screwed into the #2 Cylinder? I got the compression tested screwed into all the other ones but I'll be damned if I can get it screwed into the #2 port. I have the alternator off but with the rubber hose coming off the fitting I cant get the damn thing to line up with the hole. The hard lines for the AC are in the way. May arms are not long enough to get to it from the bottom going up through the space by the Y pipe.
What a pain this one is. I can get a plug in and out ok but this compression tester hose is just kickin my butt. Do I bite the bullet and take off the PS and AC Pump? The AC pump need replacing and I have evacuated the system already but I will not be replacing the pump until next summer.

Why are you doing a compression test?
Modern fuel injected engines do not wear the bore the way old carbed stuff did so about the only time someone finds a compression issue on one of these is damage like bent valve or cracked ring/piston.
I got a 5% leakdown on a cold 227K mile Roadmaster LT1 sitting on a stand in my garage.
