Draining coolant and oil isnt necessary on and LT1/LS1 car. Manifold is a dry design. Pull the intake and valve covers. Take off the lifter retainer in the lifter valley, then pull and replace lifters. Soak the lifters in oil completely first. (I left mine overnight). Then reassemble. You dont even have to disconnect the fuel rails, just set it out of the way while you do this. Entire process shouldnt take more than a few hours, if that.
