I'm getting a Comp Cam 305 and i was wondering what are good valve springs for this cam. Also what are some good 1.6 roller tips, i figured that a full roller rocker wouldn't be worth it for the money. Please inform on what i need and where i can get it, also i'm kinda on a budget so the cheaper the better.

Also i live in CA and was wonder if i could put on shorty headers and still have it pass smog. I know that the cam will pass with some tuning but i don't know if it would pass with the headers also.

 

I have the cc305 cam and within a few weeks of having it with some pos aftermarket springs my mechanic used, one of them broke I did a search and found some people recomending combination motorsports, so I decied to go with them. I got their springs which they say are good for .6" lift ($90). I also bought their Comp pro mag 1.6 rr ($259). Lift will be .544 with the cam. They will be installed tomorrow along with some hardened pushrods($26)

Summit has good prices and customer service. I like my slp shortie headers and they are emission legal
