Comp 918s

So what are the latest thoughts on these springs?
I have a set of the latest batch that Im thinking about putting on my stock cammed, 1.6 RR LT1. The LT4s that are on there now are going into float at higher RPMs so its time to change them out. The LT4s have about 60K on them now. The 918s originally came in a cam kit that my GF bought for her LS1 but later decided to upgrade to the dual PRCs before installing them.
I figure since they are rated at like .625 lift they should be ok in a stock cammed LT1.

I'm pretty sure you'll need all new hardware since the valves are different sizes. Since you already have the springs, install them. I haven't heard of any problems with the latest batches, but they haven't been run very long either.

Yeah, I already looked up the part #s for the locks, retainers, locators, and new seals(might as well). I wouldnt run these on cammed application, but I figure they should be ok on the stock cam with 1.6 RR .477/.490 lift.

You will be fine with the 918's. I've been running a 605/622 lift camshaft for 3.5 years with my 918's.

If they are of good quality, they are the best springs to run with a cammed application, IMO.
