Comp 224/230 Cam Q's

I am planning to install a Comp cam 224/230 in my 94 z28 with stock heads. Do i need 1.6 rockers or can i use the stock rockers? If i do use the 1.6 rockers, will i need to have the valve seats redone when i change the springs to handle the new rocker?

Don't skimp on the project, go with the rockers.

cmotorsports.com has a custom set of springs with a complete cam package that goes great together with the 224/230. No need to touch the heads to accomodate the springs..

and it's a good deal too

I agree about the rockers, might as well do it all while it is apart. Thanks for the information.

If your low on cash you can hold off on rockers, that what I should have done, but oh well lets not get in to that.

You can use the stockers, but why?? If money is the issue, then don't worry about it. but if you can afford the new rockers, then take care of it while it's apart.
