Anyone have any info on these?? I did a search, and someone mentioned that they just started selling them, but I can't find anything.

Where is a good place to get all the parts needed to just do the rockers. I was gonna order a cam from cmotorsports.com and it came with everything you need. But since i'm gonna use 1.7 rockers i don't think i'm gonna order the kit and just get the cam from them.

Make sure you get some springs that can handle the lift of your cam w/ 1.7s.

As far as where to get all the parts, you're going to have to buy from a couple different places. GMPartsDirect has all the little stuff you need; ie: valve seals, retainers, etc. Check MattysTA's thread for a complete listing of what you need.

I'm currently collecting all the parts I need as well. I'm doing this on a stock cam though, so I ordered Isky 235D springs from thunder racing, along with the guideplates and 7/16 studs. You can also get hardened pushrods that you need through them as well.

RealQuick- Where on that site can you find Comp 1.7 RRs? I couldnt find them there, nor could I find them on Comp's website.

On the right of flatlander's home page is a scroll down menu. Pick self aligning RR's. The name of the roller rockers are Scorpion.

The scorpion rockers are full roller rockers and only in Non SA right?

94grayv6 i'm gonna be getting the springs from cmotorsports that handle up to .600 lift. That way i don't have to get new springs when i get the 224/230xe cam.

As far as I know, they are full roller and the 1.7RR 7/16 stud are Non Self Aligning. They have SA for other ratios, but the 1.7's arent SA.

I know about the scorpion 1.7 rockers, what I was asking about is the Comp 1.7's though. Someone mentioned that Comp just started selling them, but I can't find anything. I'm planning on a switch to 1.7's in my 224/230 car.

NSA rr's with guideplates help to minimize valve float...where if you get the SA rr's you have a greater chance of missing which causes valve float...
