Why don't you give Combination Motorsports a call, and talk to them personally? I am pretty sure those guys will have good suggestions to what kind of a cam works well with those heads. I have heard that they are very helpful even if you might not buy from them. They will probably have some dyno numbers as well. JHMO.

I agree. Seth has some nutty computer program that he uses to match up good stuff together with what you want out of the car. Be nice though- because if he doesn't like you he will have a monkey randomly pick specs out of a hat

He told me to get a 284/212 with .739/.482 lift and a hypertech

Seth and Sam seem very knowledgeable and I have never heard a bad word about the company. If you tell them your mods and goal/expectations, they should be able to help you pick the right heads/cam for what you want.

There was a guy on this board named "KEN something" that has some S-2's from them that made good power and track results. Not sure what you are after but you could compare his set up to yours and see if the S-2 set up would be better for you. I am sure if you called CM, they copuld get you some info on this guy or at least HP/ET "expectations" with each of their set ups.

AFAIK Ken and I are the only guys that have CMotorsport's Stage II combo. I have some pics on my website of them... a little out of focus because the glare (those things are REALLY shiny when you open the box )

Anyways even without a tune they have performed excellently. I'll have numbers by July 21st when I go for the dyno tune at Speed Inc.

You won't be disappointed

I'm almost positive he run that with the hotcam in alot cooler air, with his new combo he hasn't had it together long and the weather he has run it in is Less than desirable, give him till the fall and see what he puts down...

like i said, maybe im missing the reason his times didnt improve much
the times were at different tracks, so that could be a bit of it.

but his site says that he dyno tuned with the hotcam at 343rwhp...........then did the heads/cam install, and there is a dyno video afterwards, but doesnt post any numbers.........but im assuming he atleast dyno tuned it a bit. wonder what the new numbers were.

Without there being some massive temperature difference thats no excuse. Were talking 140ºF air temp difference or so? I think not.

Something else would have had to been wrong with the car.
