collector inserts, any 1 use em? read...

i cant find a shop thats gonna do a half decent job, and im not putting cats back on my car, if i put collector inserts, (jegs catalog page 13) the add says "increase power, reduce sound, creates vacuum, and releives back pressure ....i need backpressure thogh dont i?...dunno just a thought of skipping muffler shop...thanks

You don't need backpressure...maybe on a lawn mower...

On a high ci engine like ours we don't really need backpressure...I do believe there are a few members who useor have used the cones that you're talking about and have liked them...

I dunno, it seemed like after the header intall, the car ran much better especially down low, when my cat back (no cat lol)was hooked up

That's because of the loss of low end torque with wide open headers...torque is gained with some restriction...or 3" header-back exhaust...

No....if anything they will increase backpressure and gain torque.

can some1 that has them post? im wondering if they fit without problem or if they hit floorboard on the drivers side, let me know somethin, thanks alot

you don't lose torque with backpressure or not do you?
i thought it just moved the torque slightly higher in the powerband, making it feel less "torquey"
