code scanner ?
I have a 95z28 and it is obdI and it has obdII connector. Should i buy a scanner for 96 and up vehicles? It seems like none of them list for 95, I think it was a transition year.

No, a '96 and up will not work on a '95. As you already know, a '95 is OBDI with an OBDII connector, so you need an OBDI scan tool with the proper cable for plugging into the OBDII connector. Check Auto Xray's site. Also search of OBDI scan tool. Somebody had a link up to a good deal for one, not long ago.
