Question code p1133

I was driving along and my SES light came on. When I scanned it I came up with P1133 (Manufacurer control. Fuel air metering). Does anyone know what might be causing this? I've had it pop up twice before, but that was like a month ago and the first time was a month before that.

Any help would be great!

Thanks a lot,
Jason

Where did you get the explanation for that code, Autozone?

P1133 is Heated oxygen sensor, insufficient switching, bank 1, sensor 1.

It means the pcm is seeing the sensor as "lazy". It could come and go due to a poor connection or maybe the sensor is sick.

Yep, I did get it from Autozone. I guess I should have looked it up online myself before posting. Note to self I guess. Do you think that could cause my car to...stutter...while taking off on occasion or even while under acceleration from a constant speed. It only seems to do it while the AC it on though? It just started about a week ago and its starting to give me a nervous tick

Thanks for the info shoebox

If it causes miscalculations in fuel delivery, it might cause a stumble you could feel.
