CLUTCH INSTALL PRICE... this good?

CLUTCH INSTALL PRICE... this good?

albany ny area.... friend with a c5 referred me to this guy, only guy he lets touch his vette... he told me 200-250 for the clutch install, including rear main seal, pilot bushin and resurfacing the flywheel, hes just chargin labor, i have ALL THE PARTS... not bad eh ?

mine was 250 for the centerforce install, so that sounds about right

250? that sounds cheap. I am going to punch my friend in the face next time for making me help him when he could of gotten it done for 250. It was more involved then removing my motor and tranny out the bottom.

That is a fair price. I have done it before myself, but I would pay that to have someone else do it. Seems good to me.

My clutch install was $200. That includes the resurfacing of my flywheel too. So, that sounds like a fair price.

BlackZ28, where in Minnesota did you get your clutch installed. That is a damn good price.

A buddy of mine did it for me. If you want to PM me I can give you his phone number. He has his own shop and everything. He used to own a camaro Z28, so he knows his stuff.

I got it done at a dealership for 300$ which I wouldn't suggest unless you know one of the service people quite well ( so they wont screw you over ) and even though it was a little steep, they will change out fluids or whatever if you have any problems with it; so yes 250 is a decent price.
