Exclamation Clutch install now speedo won't work???

Ok I just got a call from the tranny shop who installed my clutch today. I guess they have it all back together but the speedo isn't working They say everything is connected and checks out. They want to scan it for codes but they don't have an OBDI scanner (I did the OBDI to OBDII switch when I put my cam in). Any ideas on what the problem is? It can't be the OBDI swap because it worked before I took it in. Where is the speed senor at? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

Bryan

I would just check on the side of the tranny for something unplugged

Sounds contradictory. "Checks out", but hasn't been scanned. Sounds like it needs a little more "checking".

Checks out as far as all the connections are connected. I guess I'll take my stock OBDII PCM in so they can scan it.

Just got back. Speedo still doesn't work . We put the OBDII in and scanned it and it didn't throw any codes. All wires and connections are good. Does anyone have a clue what the problem is? We are going to throw a new speed sensor in on Monday and see if that fixes it but why would it just quit working?

Did the scanner show mph incrementing when it was hooked up and driving the car? If so, the trouble is not the sensor.
