clutch disaster pics inside!!!!

this makes the 7th clutch i have put in the car in 5 years...the first six lasted 6 months each and this last one lasted 2 whole years! the centers keep breaking out of them. i dont have a clue as to why either?

Get a SPEC Stage4, and try to brake that one.

the last clutch was a ram clutch...

i am doing the installs(maybe thats the problem)...lol

All i can say to someone that shreads clutches like that is YUDE DA MAN!

Seriously did the very first one fail like that? What kind of condition is the flywheel?

The problem may be the bell housing and the crank center are not in good aligment. You may want to check it with a dail indicator with it bolted to the engine and see how far it is off. If it is too far off there are special pins to correct it. Have you been replacing the piolit bearing when you do the clutch?

flywheel is in good shape...when the first one broke it looked like a lock washer...the disc was broke in half!

at first i wasnt changing the pilot bushing....but the last several times i have been. i wondered where all that shaking was coming from when i was pulling out!....lol
