Clunking noise from under car when turning while braking

Sometimes while turning slowly while on the brakes I hear a popping/clunking noise coming from underneath the car. It is not the brakes themselves because I can almost feel the popping in the car from the rear section, I was thinking that the previous owner had the rear end fluid changed (I have the records) and the shop probably did not use the GM Llmited slip additive. This sometimes causes noises to come from the rear end because the clutches are not disengaging. Comments, Solutions, Possibilties,

Please advise

Thanks Robert
