Clunking in any gear when I get on the gas. Coming from the tranny/driveshaft area. It also rattles or clunks going over almost and bumps in the road.

Also, went over a speed bump and the motor cut off. Waited a few minutes and it turned back on. Keep in mind, this is in heavy rain. Went through a big puddle on the right side, and the motor cut off again.

 

sounds like the tranny muont to me.

dont know about it quitting on you though.
