clunk clunk goes my rear end, or is it the tranny mount?

from a roll in 2nd when I hammer it down, sometimes I get this clunk or 2 clunks under the hard acceleration. Is this wheel hop or something? or is my *** end about to go eeeee!!

i 2nd the tranny mount, that what's mine did when it went, what ever you do do not buy the energy suspension mount it sucks a$$!!!!!! it's to tall and will cause your drive shaft to vibrate.

Hope this helps.

my steel 2.5in driveshaft came out of balance when i lost my tranny mount. i didnt realize it was the mount at first. i replaced the shaft with one from an ls1 car. lots of steel shafts had a problem with balancing......think gm dubbed it "vibeshaft" there was even a recall and they were replacing them with the newer alumnium shafts.

actually the mount doesnt cause the driveshaft to vibrate. the mount is a LOT stiffer and raises the trans slightly.
the stiffness transfers more noise/vibration from the road.
