Are their any tips/installation guides for installing a roller chain for our car's............ did a search did'nt find much info.

I had to clearance about 30 thousands of an inch on the back side of the timing cover. Do a trial fit (without the gasket) to see if its rubbing on the chain. Also you will have to plug the hole up on top where the water pump shaft cam through.

Look on that page that I listed above about removing the shaft and plugging up the hole.

I wished I took some pics of the place where I had to do the clearancing for the chain. It might not be the case for you but I had to do it for mine. I took a high speed (air powered) round sander and grounded down the area.
