cloyes double roller

I am rebuilding my 94 LT1 and am using a cloyes double roller timing chain, I need to know which grove and timing mark to use?, there are 3 and i have been told that there is one specific one for my motor.

Find #1 TDC, and install the crank gear so that the 'circle' mark is at 12:00. Simple enough.

[Edit] -- Don't forget, you'll likely need to clearance the timing cover as well.

One is straight up, and the others are + or - 4*

Stock. You don't want to advance or retard the timing here, as it will alter your valve, ignition, and fuel timing. We can handle such things with different camshaft grinds and PCM programming.

Again, use the circle. Not the triangle or square or whatever.
