Clogged Cat?

I've searched and some of the symptoms match mine. Any ideas?

I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear earlier, but that post on the Impala forum is mine. I didn't feel like typing everything twice. Those are all the symptoms I am having. My gas mileage sucks also. Thanks.

bad gas mileage, loss of power (esp in upper rpms), excessive heat in the exhaust manifolds (sometimes get red hot), quiet exhaust...thats what i can think of right now. best way to tell is to have your cats tested, i think they test the back pressure or something, ask a dealership.
