everytime i give the car some gas, i hear a damn clicking noise almost like it barely making it like up a hill but it has no problem accelirating

 

I got the same ticking bug.........you midaswell not even try to find it. No one knows......just wait till you put a new motor in or as you replace parts you get lucky and find it.

 

Happened to my car, turned out to be the EGR hoses (rubber ones) on both sides of the engine (near the exhaust manifolds) were torn up and leaking. Put new ones on and ticking is gone. Just a suggestion in something you want to check.

 

Does it go away when it gets warm?

 

Kinda sounds like a small exhaust leak.

 

Got headers? Sounds like an exhaust leak...check the bolts that secure it to the head, the exhaust risers (if equipped), etc.
