Cleaning T/B, need new gasket??

I'm going to take off my T/B and clean it as well as the IAC soon. My question is: should I get a new gasket for it, and if so where should I go to get it? Do places like Autozone or Napa carry them?? Thanks for the help.

I always try to change the gaskets every time I get access to one. Plus, the TB gasket is only like $3-$5 so might as well do it.
Both Autozone and Napa should carry it. Autozone didn't have it last time I was there (although I did buy one from them before) but Napa did.

Also, depending on how thorough you are wanting to clean it--there are gaskets on the top and bottom of the throttle body as well. (I assume your question was in reference to the gasket between the throttle body and intake manifold?)

Yep, that's right. I doubt he'll be cleaning it that thorough though. Also those gaskets are harder to find and you might have to get them from the dealer.

True, true.

When I cleaned mine up here (scroll down) I did not replace the bottom gasket--so I'm with Madwolf on that one.

Yeah I'm just going to replace the gasket between the T/B and the manifold. I've already had the top plate off to paint it and I put it back on with the same gasket. That was a year ago and no problems since... Thanks for all the help.

Oh yeah, and is there a gasket between the IAC and the T/B?? I'm going to be taking that off to clean it (it's sticking) and I might need one for that too. If there is one, where would I find that??

There is an o-ring on the IAC.
