Cleaning sensors. (MAF)

I saw some people cleaned the sensors and I was wondering how they did it.. I pulled the sensor out and all I can see are the pins in the connector and the metal parts on the sensor where they make contact. which part should I clean? THanks

. Its pretty easy. I just went to Radio Shack and bought some electrical parts cleaner. Sprayed it all up and gently used cotton swaps to clean it. My MAF was really dirty the Z ran a little better afterwards. Yo have to be really careful though .

Your actually looking to clean the sensor elements themselves. Dirt and grime build up on it, reducing its accuracy and slowing reaction time. Caliking97 is 100% correct in using electronic contact cleaner.
