cleaning MAF

What's the best way to do this? Also, does anyone have pictures of a clean vs. dirty MAF. A before and after, if you will. I'm getting low gas milage and hope this can help.

I use some "no residue" tuner clear from radio shack and a cotton swab. Very lightly wipe the wires or the will break.

Checker auto has a spray cleaner for throttle body and MAF. It's about $3 for each, works very well.

The dirty Maf looks like it has dust and is gray with a little film. The spray stuff from Schucks was $5 and looked brand new after it was cleaned. It is only for them only and appeared to work the best. Just be sure to let it air dry for a little bit before running the car.

only use electronics cleaners. no carb or throttle body sprays, and definitely not brake cleaner.

the electronics cleaner can be sprayed with it on the car, i dont know about anything else.
