Cleaning Calipers

I want to completely remove the calipers from my car and soak them, say overnight to remove all crud and stuff from them. Any ideas on what I can use (chemical wise) If I can legally buy it and it won't deteriorate the metal Then lemme know

No need to soak them....there shouldn't be that much crud on them unless your 4-wheelin. I would just spray it with some Brakeleen and take a toothbrush to it.

When I did mine I just used a degreaser (simple green, orange blast...etc.) and let them sit for a few minutes then sprayed them again and used a brush to scrub them good and mine turned out nicely.

SALT, SALT, SALT AND A LITTLE MORE SALT....

Gotta love VA! I know I can spray and scrub, but I plan to remove them totally from the vehicle to paint and was just wondering what chemical would get the most crud off....
