I went to check my codes and when I jumped the two terminals the ses light did not come on and I heard the cooling fans come on? WTF? Is that normal? I'm pretty sure its OBD1 its a 1994 with the 12 pin adld so why is it doing that and not showing any codes-just shutting off?

 

Because you cannot check codes that way. 1993 was the last year you could do that on an f-body. You need a scan tool to retreive the codes.
