checking for leaks at the intake?

The car doesn't idle at all, so the spraying starting fluid over the manifold method is out. My buddy had a good idea to run smoke in through the intake manifold (after removing the throttle body) and looking to see where smoke comes out. But what can we do to make the smoke and to push it into the intake? Anyone got any ideas?

There is such a thing as a smoke machine - check with some shops around town.

have a shop diagnose it...wont take more than about 30 minutes and it's well worth the effort.

or, you could hop on a snap-on truck or matco truck and pay the 700 bucks for the machine....and then buy the nitrogen

check the bolts with a ratchet and see if theyre tight. If not try to re torque them down especially in the back.
