Check the simple things

For the past month or so i have been trying to figure out a low rpm miss/ stumble. I changed the plugs and wires, bought new o2 extensions, checked like 100 times for leaks before the o2s and still didn't find anything. Today, i was checking my brand new plug wires, and i found that one of them had been burned right down to the metal by the DS header. So, i replaced it with one of my older plug wires (that was a bit longer) and routed it so it wouldn't burn. Took the car out, and it roasted the tires in second going up a hill. You couldnt wipe the smile off my face.

Just thought id spread the word, since it seems like so many LT1s are suffering from little problems like above. Check the easy things before you dump money into it guys.

Excellent advice, I wish more people would follow it before blowing money
on expensive replacement components they don't need.

Great to hear you're up and running again. Enjoy the summer weather
