I find it amusing that you don't even know how much power you'll be making

Well, considering this is my first stroker build and I'm on this board asking questions I FIND IT AMUSING you assume I already know everything

But regardless, your right. I forgot to factor in that's RWHP. I'm just NOW getting this setup idea together so I'm going to overlook many obvious details.

Well damn, that's going to add to cost. Using KB Forged opposed to JE will cut cost but is it a worthwhile way to do so ? Somebody said KB's are good quality so I'd assume that would be fine with the scat H beam rods/scat forged crank or even eagle.

Listen to people with experience here, they've spent years doing this. Your the one saying the cast crank will work, but then you say you dont want to cut corners. It just seems like you've got the money but not the knowledge. You'll need both to get things to get everything to work together and have a decent car. Otherwise you'll be here a week after the motor is in asking "Why am I bending pushrods" or "Low on power, only dyno'd 354rwhp?

Just trying to keep you from tossing money out the window.

Then again doing some research wouldnt hurt either, this has been talked over 100's of times.

I totally agree with you, trust me. I'm working on it and I did do a few searches on this subject. I'll do some more but right before time I decide to order parts I want peoples opinions on what I'm ordering.

Hence why I turn here before I would ANY reputable machine shop. People here KNOW what's going on. What do you honestly think though ? Have you run across places that sale a TOTAL package for a good price ?

one thing i have learned first hand is you can buy the best parts but if you don't have a GOOD engine builder who does high performance engines you will have problems when reving high. a lot of people including me have had engine failure due to bad ,machinig, assembly, balance etc, then want to blame the parts. the new builder i am dealing with has made me put some thought into what i want and how i use my car. he has made me think more about drivability and torque which make a nice street car.

Listening to the internet warriors here or anywhere over a reputable shop is a bad idea. Find a shop that's local to you, or deal with one that has a good reputation weather in the racing world or whatever. I've dealt with a few. Fast Times Motorworks is a big NAME company, but their customer service was sub par because I was the little guy. They were busy racing and building $50K engines to deal with a little 'ole 357. I ended up going to the same guys the school I was going to uses. I couldn't have been happier, I got my block back in 2 days. and they pressed a set of pistons on for me while I went to get lunch. Reputation has a lot to do with the shop you choose. And I'm willing to bet that those shops have more experience than putting together a shortblock together than 95% of the guys on a message board.

just my $.02
