Re: Check out my parts list, let me know what you think about the combination!
spending a lot of money there.. may as well go with some decent lifters and pushrods. Id say comp Rs or the 875 series lifter and some chromoly/hardened pushrods.
Re: Check out my parts list, let me know what you think about the combination!
So are you going to port the heads?
Why are you going to have the heads milled .060???
When I had my heads milled, I went with .010 I believe. That way I could go .020 the next time they came off and .030 the last time. I didn't want to ever have to go more than .030..............Peace, Lalo

Okay, how about this.
The K-800's, can I use a stock retainer and locks?
Comp Pushrods
Comp R lifters
1.5 NSA R/R's
GM Guideplates
GM847
milling only the required amount to plain heads
some minor bowl work on the heads.
what do you think, please help me with suggestions.

Sounds better you will need the lifters and rods but why 1.5 rockers why not move up to 1.6's and you know nsa rockers need guide plates
Sorry missed the guide plates in your last post

definately get the lifters, rods and 1.6 rockers. Sounds like you want to go pretty crazy with this. I would go with the 847 over the 306. The 306 feels pretty tame to me:shrugs:
