i just got this awesome deal for a Brand New Comp Cams 306 for $150 still in the box. its for just the cam. my car is all stock cept for a cold air kit. is it worth getting?

The cam is pretty good and it's a great price....however, on ur bone stock car its not really worth JUST throwing a cam in...

My advice would be to buy them cam and hold onto it until u can do full exhaust and headers, full induction, and custom programming, even a dyno tune.

i was hoping to throw it in with some 1.6s for now. ill prob be getting the hooker lts with a custom made x-pipe to go along with it early next year. will i be ok throwing the cam in now, or just keep it till then?

I would just keep the Cam and Rockers on hold until u are able to had headers and programming. With a cam like that, programming is pretty much a necesity. While ur in there, I would get some new lifters, pushrods, and valve-springs depending on how many miles are on ur car
