Arrow Check my valvetrain parts list...

I'm going to install the following this coming weekend: (already have the stuff, just want someone to give me an opinion)

All of it is brand new.

Comp Cams 233/239 duration @ .050", .569"/.577
CMotorsports 612 spring kit
Pro Magnum 1.6 non self aligning rockers with 7/16 studs
GM Guideplates
Comp Hi-Tech One-Piece Chromemoly pushrods, 7.200"
Comp Cams "R" Lifters
GM valve seals
New Stock timing chain with new sprockets

Will this work well together?
The springs are rated to .600 lift.

Thanks!

When I was thinking about getting the XE 230/236 I was told that if I was tough on the car the 612 springs would wear very quickly. That cam has more lift so I would keep an eye on them, they may not last very long if it's driven hard. Everything else looks good!

Thanks Brad.
How quick is quick?
If I have to change them in 2 years, I can handle it, but if less than a year, then I think I'm just going to get a different set.

How much lift are the 612 springs good to? Also does that come with all the stuff for the springs. I was looking at there site and the crane aluminum head valve kit says the springs are good to .600 lift. Also it comes with all the stuff. But it is $70 more. Why is this?

Yes, it does come with everything.
Not sure why the Crane kit is more expensive. My guess it that those are dual coil springs.

I'm not sure exactly how long they'll last. I would think it depends on how high you spin the motor and how often. They should be fine but Lloyd Elliot recommended the CC987 double springs to me. I'm just going off what he said.....

Oh sorry missed that part. What is the advantage of dual coil springs?
