I just bought a 96 z28 with some mods, the pcm was done by pcmsforless. The check engine light comes on if you floor it once it hits like 5800 and then goes back off whem i returned to a cruise, it did this numerous times tonight anyone else ever had this or have any ideas?

 

When you get a light, you need to have it scanned to see what it is about. Autozone will scan OBD-II for free, if you have one nearby. Even though the light goes out, the code is stored for a period start cycles.
