HAHA. Nice title. Got me to read it. J/K. I think he's right about on target with Summit. Haven't checked on them in a while, but they offer a pretty good deal on them. Thunder Racing also has them for 389. I have found out that most anything you need for an LT1 car can be found at a pretty good price at www.ThunderRacing.com. Good luck, and take everybodies' advice in here that you will regret if you don't get them coated.

Just to clarify...I'm not getting them coated because I'm doing some custom work to them. About 1/2 way between the flange and where the primaries come together, I'm going to cut a hole and that's how I'm coing to weld up a custom Y-pipe, on the side of the collector. And on the 3-bolt flange, I'm going to make a steel plate with 3 holes to make a cutout and eventually I'm going to get a e-cutout valve and put on the end of the headers.
Once I get the hole cut and get my custom work done, I'm going to ship the y-pipe and the headers to jet hot to get them both coated.

I knew this topic would get several people to read it

Thanks for all the info

I think your gonna have lots of fun fitting all that underneath a crowded, low F-body chassis, but let us know how it goes

I don't see why you don't get a cutout before your axle???

Sounds like you are making more work for yourself by cutting the primary's and running a more narrow y-pipe with running an electirc cutout out of the end of the headers.

You realize that the electric cutouts are made to be on a straight piece of pipe with a dump and not bolted to a 3 bolt flange like the end of your header right?

IMO you are wasting time and money when you should just go with coated headers off the bat, a custom y-pipe and running a cutout somewhere down the line from there.
