Cheap supercharger or turbo on E-Bay?
Hey did anyone else see these two kits on E-Bay? I am a little leery of them but was just curious what other opinions were:

Re: Cheap supercharger or turbo on E-Bay?
Well, my opinion on ebay is use paypal or cod only. Since the items were just listed I expect the price will probably go up quite a bit before it's over. Complicated parts like that are also hard to judge by pictures, it's not the same as seeing whether the headers are the kind advertised, and condition. Don't take risks or you can get burned. That STS seller worries me though, 0 transactions, item locations in NY and London, yet the seller is from Canada?
Certainly worth further investigation...

do a search for STS and you'll see tons of posts on them. seem to be reasonable systems.
as for the vortech....hard to say.
could have been used for 30k miles and he's lying...
i would pass

Re: Cheap supercharger or turbo on E-Bay?
i would pass on both of them....the turbo deal seems a little odd. No pics and it says 4-6 hours to install and less than an hour to remove. Seems strange to me. The blower deal seems right but teke184 is right. Who knows how many miles that thing has on it
Re: Cheap supercharger or turbo on E-Bay?
The turbo system is a fake, there are numerous people that offer complete used supercharger systems for camaros that are located in london or canada and when they get the money there done. Trust me. Always remeber, If it sounds to good to be true, it not.
Re: Cheap supercharger or turbo on E-Bay?
Those with zero feedback, selling expensive items, and taking nothing but money order, are liars until proven otherwise. The guy in Canada sells nonexistent radar detectors, wheels, cars, and performance equipment. Its either him or a copycat. And what do you know, as im typing this, ebay has removed the listing!
