Cheap Strut Tower Brace STB

Seen this on ebay....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2416638815

Seeing that the ends are held together by bolts, will this STB be effective? I've seen other STBs held together with welds rather than bolts like this one, are those better?

I'm not looking for an expensive STB, just something that works and is cheap.

Oh, by the way, car is a DSM not a camaro.

Well, it is made of metal, and it bolts onto the strut towers. So it would work. You don't sound like you are going for high handling performance mods, so it shouldn't be that big of a concern to you.

Looks very nice but (as some pointed out to me once regarding the Hotchkis STB) it has hinges which pretty much defeats the purpose of having a strut brace.
